Steel plate duplication machines combine a hydraulic punching head and optional drilling head to produce fabrication details on steel plates and angles. Two-axis CNC plate duplication machines eliminate time-consuming manual layout processes and increase productivity through automation of material handling and repositioning.
Two-Axis CNC Plate and Angle Punches
The Ficep plate duplicators eliminate the time consuming layout and hole production that is associated with the production of plate and angle detail components. A hydraulic punching head, in conjunction with an optional drilling head, gives the Ficep plate duplicators the capability to process applications that require either punching or drilling.
Ficep UK offers a complete line of two-axis CNC controlled plate punches for processing both plates and angle material. All systems feature a Windows based CNC control which is provided with the proprietary Ficep software that permits remote troubleshooting with an internet connection.
CNC Punch Stand Alone
CNC plate and angle detail punching machines are used in steel plate fabrication. They are equipped to punch a range of hole sizes or die clearances in steel plates or angles. Many punches incorporate drilling capabilities. Punching machines also automatically stamp the part mark on each steel member, enabling easy identification in subsequent fitting operations.

The Ficep detail punches are generally equipped to address the typical requirements that face a fabricator with the requirements to:
Punch up to three different hole sizes or die clearances for varied material thicknesses.
Automatically stamp the part mark on the detail member so it can be positively identified for subsequent fitting.
Incorporate drilling with the two axis CNC table so those detail members that require drilling rather than punching can also be processed on the Ficep line of CNC detail punches.
When confronted with applications that require exclusively drilling, Ficep offers the P27E. This system features a high performance drilling spindle with a ball screw feed and 3,000 RPM to take full advantage of carbide inserts. The P27E can be equipped with an eight position automatic tool changer to accommodate different hole sizes and to change a dull tool automatically when required.
