Angles and Flats

Automated angle punch/shear machines enable structural steel angles, channels and flats to be processed from stock into finished components for example, in transmission tower building, in the most efficient manner in a single automated CNC operation. These advanced machines automate everything from material handling to punching, drilling, milling and marking, as well as cutting the finished part to length.

The Ficep CNC angle line solution gives you the opportunity to not only process angle but also channels and flats! The Ficep angle line systems (19 models available) typically eliminates the manual layout and automates the production of holes, notches, part marking and cutting of the finished part to length! The extensive Ficep angle line product line typically offers the following capabilities:

  • Punching
  • Drilling
  • Shearing
  • Programmable Miter Shearing of Flats
  • Programmable Notching, semi automatic and fully automatic
  • Marking

This type of automation enables a firm to process miscellaneous shapes, in the most efficient manner, these miscellaneous shapes by going from stock length material to finished parts, in one automated CNC operation. Our Ficep systems typically eliminates the manual layout operations and automates material handling, production of holes, notches, part marking and cutting the finished parts to length

Ficep Roller Feed Punch/Shear Angle Line

Our range ofThe Ficep family of CNC controlled angle lines includes systems with a roller feed drive and measuring system. The roller feed system is often used by structural steel fabricators who process shorter detail parts. OurThe "HP" models are generally employed in those applications where longer parts require with a higher degree of accuracy,  is required such as the fabrication of towers. All our the Ficep angle line machines products are equipped with based upon a Windows based CNC control, which is provided with ourthe proprietary  unique Ficep software that permits remote troubleshooting viawith an internet connection.

Ficep Rack and Pinion Carriage Style Punch/Shear Angle Line

OurThe Ficep family of CNC controlled angle lines includeincludes systems that utilisze a carriage type system with rack and pinion measuring for the ultimate in accuracy and automation. Our The "HP" models are employed in those applications where longer parts require with a higher degree of accuracy, is required such as the fabrication of towers. Our These models also include a higher degree of automation for the automatic unloading of the drops for example. All our the Ficep angle line products are based upon a Windows based CNC control which is provided with the proprietary Ficep software that permits remote troubleshooting with an internet connection.

Ficep Drill/Shear/Carbide Cutting Angle Line

Our The Rapid angle lines were originally developed to address those fracture critical applications, such as transmission towers and bridges where the code prohibits punching and shearing. Understanding these criteria Tt The Rapid machines utiliseutilises tilizes high speed carbide drilling and carbide sawing rather than punching and shearing.

The drill spindles of the Rapid feature independent sub axis positioning, so it is not always necessary to always position the angle for holes with different length dimensions and holes can be drilled in both legs simultaneously, even if they do not share the same length coordinate. When combining high speed drilling with independent drill spindles the Rapid offers enhanced productivity over punching in many applications!

Want to be able to not only process angles but also flats that can be cut on a miter?

The versatility of our product line is further exhibited with the Tipo D angle and plate systems that provides such additional capabilities including plasma cutting and a CNC controlled flat stock shear with a programmable cutting angle, to accomplish clipping and miter cuts in the most cost-effective manner
